Yoga is a practice in which we are never done learning. As we practice, our bodies can change due to injury, repetitive stress, or we may experience discomfort during class even without injury. Or, maybe we are unsure how to use our body most effectively in our postures. To keep practicing throughout our lifespan, it is important to use our body safely and effectively in our postures. No matter what you may need (progression or modifications), you found just the place to learn about your practice in a safe, effective way. Sessions are led by Melissa Sargent, a Certified Occupational Therapist with over two decades of experience in physical rehabilitation, multiple yoga certifications, and an Inferno Hot Pilates certification. She also has personal experience in modifying her own practice. After you book your session below you will receive an email within 24 hours confirming your appointment and an intake form to complete prior to your appointment. Please complete the form thoroughly as it will inform Melissa so she can ensure you receive the most personalized approach. After your session you will receive a detailed plan with all the postures discussed in your session with instruction, pictures, and recommendations.
